Dear Dumplin,
September means… SCHOOL. The year is officially 3/4 over and although I’ve stopped my formal education for a few years now, I still feel like going school supply shopping EVERY. SINGLE. SEPTEMBER. I want a new notebook, new pens, new colored post-it notes, new folders, and other new nerdy school supplyish things that have come out since the last time I went school supply shopping. I love nice paper! A thick paper that can handle a good pen and heavy ink is heavenly. I’m a big believer in writing things down and am known to have several notebooks in use at once. I don’t suspect this will ever change.
This month I’ll be talking to you about your school experience so far. You see, you are a day care baby. You’ve been in daycare since you were 3 months old with a small hiatus here and there. I’m going to tell you about my experience with your schools so far, what I like and what I don’t like. I’ll also throw in a few flashbacks to my school experiences. Lastly, I’m going to talk about what preparing you for school means and all the things I think about that I never thought I would.
For now, I’ll enjoy the last unofficial week of summer. The first post will be up next week!
Love,
Mama
